Look forward to more.Update: Since I wrote the review below, I have purchased a different Reyn Spooner shirt, so I guess that says it all.This shirt is incredibly comfortable, so much so that it could actually be used as sleepwear and work as well or better than a pyjama top. The 55/45 Cotton/Polyester blend cloth, even new feels soft and buttery and yet robust. When worn it drapes across one's shoulders and conforms to the body and yet feels loose on the body. It's an excellent feeling. The only thing that may become an issue is the tags which appear to be entirely polyester and may make a sensitive neck wish they were removed, but that is a personal preference that will only make itself apparent with wear. The collar is an oxford style with button down collars, including a third button in back to keep the collar from rolling and getting bent out of shape and the buttons themselves are well-made and built to stand the test of time.The pattern of this particular shirt is busy but not garish, consisting of alternating panels depicting hibiscus, the Hawaiian flag, a nene and sakura flowers. While I'm not personally keen on the flag bit, the overall design is fine and the shirt, as stated, is unbelievably comfortable.The construction of it is top notch. Even though Made in China, the seams appear to be professionally executed with high quality workmanship right down to a pocket that is so well-matched to the pattern of the shirt that it literally disappears. Unfortunately, the pockets are what bring this shirt down from 5 stars to 4. Yes, it causes the shirt to look bad when its pocket is filled to capacity by a phone, but the fact is that clothing these days need to be built to accommodate the ubiquitous cell phone. The pocket on this shirt is alarmingly small, and while it does fit the model of phone I use (SE2020), it won't fit the mongo phones most people walk around with. Also, there is only one pocket. One pocket is one too few. Every shirt that is not a pull over, that has a chest pocket needs two.I really, really like this shirt and, if the company makes shirts with two pockets I am almost certainly a buyer of others.This shirt is highly recommended with the caveat that it has only one pocket and needs two.I have wanted a Reyn Spooner Hawaiian Shirt for a long time and finally had the opportunity - I am thrilled! This Reyn Spooner Men's Lahaina Sailor Classic Hawaiian Aloha Shirt is awesome looking and feeling and I will wear it often! The look is great - that classic Hawaiian look - that night on the beach with my wife or around the Keys... wherever I wear it, I know I’ll look good so I’ll feel good. The material is comfy and with this pattern, looks great! I usually wash things before I wear them, but not this time - I want that brand new look - and it pays off! But when I do wash - which I have not yet - I am guessing it’ll need a light iron - I don’t care - I want this shirt to stay in great condition, so I’ll treat it as such. Take some time and hang out on the Reyn Spooner site to see all their patterns - they are one of the top companies and practically define a classic Hawaiian. shirt look. One of the best things they ever did was to cut down the loudness of the pattern - from what I’ve read, they literally turned it inside out at first - and created the look I love - faded, but not faded out. This Reyn Spooner Men's Lahaina Sailor Classic Hawaiian Aloha Shirt is spot on for me! It may be (finally) my first, but it won’t be my last!This is a "big" large, which is nice and much different than most shirts that my husband buys that requires an XL.The material (55% cotton, 45% polyester) is soft and feels nice against your skin. The stitching is strong and should be for the price.It's great-looking shirt that should last for awhile.The quality of this shirt is fantastic. The materials are really nice, and it is very well made. Unfortunately the fit of the shirt is not so great (although this is a personal preference issue, not a quality issue, so no stars taken away for this). This is a classic Hawaiian shirt fit, so it is roomy and has big sleeves, however I prefer a more modern, fitted look. If this came in a fitted size I would be all over it.I'm new to the Reyn Spooner Brand, so wasn't sure what to expect, but given the price tag my expectations were high. I'm happy to report, they were matched, this is a very high quality hawaiian shirt and it shows. The cadillac of hawaiian shirts so to speak. Very well made, fits a little large, I suppose that's the Hawaiian way. Very pleased with the shirt, and tons of compliments.
